Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sanjoy Kumar Malik ("I", "me", "my") handles personal data in connection with the website https://sanjoykumarmalik.com (the "Site"). This website is a personal blog for sharing thought leadership on AI product architecture and design. Your privacy matters, and this policy explains plainly what happens and what does not happen with any data related to your visit.

1. No data collection by me

I do not use analytics tools, tracking pixels, cookies, contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, or login systems on this site. This site is built with Docusaurus, a static site generator with no built-in tracking. I do not know who visits this site, how often, or what you read, and I have no mechanism to find out.

1a. If you choose to email me

If you send me an email, for example, using the address provided on the Contact page, I will naturally receive your email address and any other information you choose to include in your message. This happens because you initiated the email yourself and not because of any tracking or form on this site. I use your information only to respond to you, do not add it to any mailing list, and do not share it with any third party.

2. Hosting provider

This site is hosted on Hostinger. Like any web hosting service, Hostinger may automatically log basic technical information — such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — for security, performance, and operational purposes. This is standard infrastructure-level logging for any website on the internet, and it is entirely outside my control or access. I do not receive, view, or use this data. For details on how Hostinger handles this information, see Hostinger's Privacy Policy.

(If this site is later moved to a different host, this section will be updated to name the new provider.)

3. Third-party content

If any post on this blog embeds third party content, for example, a YouTube video, an X or Twitter post, or a LinkedIn link, interacting with that content may be subject to the respective third party's own cookies and privacy practices. I do not control or have access to any data those platforms may collect. Please review their privacy policies directly if you have concerns.

4. Children's privacy

This blog is not directed at children and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. I do not knowingly collect any information relating to children.

5. International visitors

This blog is intended to be read by anyone, anywhere in the world. Regardless of your location, the practices described above remain the same: I do not use analytics, cookies, or tracking of any kind. Any personal data that reaches me — such as an email you choose to send — is handled only as described in Section 1a, and any incidental technical logging is handled solely by my hosting provider, as described in Section 2.

6. Changes to this policy

If I ever add features that involve data collection, such as a newsletter or a comments section, this policy will be updated accordingly, and the effective date above will reflect the most recent revision. I encourage you to check back periodically.

7. Contact

If you have questions about this policy, feel free to reach out via email or LinkedIn.
